Looking for some great spin? There is a post off the ND GOP Blog that has as it's title, "McCain Running Strong In Some Key Democratic States". It goes on to list Michigan, New Jersey, and Washington. That's nice, but in fairness...
They have forgotten to tell you that here in North Dakota, Sen. Obama is ahead of Sen. McCain by 4 points according to polls taken. Maybe the ND state GOP should start worrying about how to promote their candidate instead of worrying about other states.
In fact, let's just pull a few numbers out of many like the GOP did. McCain is behind in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Minnesota and Nevada to both Dems. It does no good to play the horserace yet. Maybe in July and August it will be time to pay close attention to the polls all over, but just not yet.

Major Spin from the ND State GOP

Maybe the ND GOP has given up on the state already - or maybe they still believe that ND doesn't count for much and are more interested in other states. Either way they'll be caught with their pants down.
I've been dissapointed with the media's obsession with Obama v. Clinton while giving McCain a pass on every issue. His campaign is getting quietly hit from all sides these days - neo-cons, evangelicals, etc. - without any substantial coverage.
I'm not worried about McCain all that much right now. He is showing more and more senior moments and those can't be hidden over the next 6 months.
