What 'New Brand of Politics' Looks Like

Maybe you've heard bloggers and pundits talking about Obama's 'New Brand of Politics' ante wondered what that means. Or perhaps you've seen the friendly and cordial Hillary Clinton speaking so nicely of Senator Obama during the debates and wondering why people say she's going negative with her 'Kitchen Sink' strategy.

Let's compare the following campaign ads - the first is a Hillary Clinton campaign ad:


By comparison, here is Barack Obama's ad:


Notice a bit of difference in tone. One of the things that drew me to Barack Obama early in the campaign was his willingness to explain what he would do for America rather than concentrating on what his opponents wouldn't do. Hillary Clinton's willingness to use Republican 'win at all costs' campaign strategies, half-truths and all-out lies and corporate money are enough to scare me away.
