It's all come down to this. And we mean it this time - we hope.
There are three primary contests left, but this weekend the Democratic Party Rules Committee takes up the issue of what to do about Michigan and Florida. The problem is that everybody knows what they should do - the question is what they WILL do?
In my opinion it's a no-brainer: the Democratic Parties of Michigan and Florida chose to violate the party rules. The residents of those states have a right to be angry but they should direct that anger at the leadership within their own states and not at the national office.
The Clinton camp is done doing damage to Obama and has turned it's forces of idiocy on Howard Dean and the national party. At this point I wouldn't mind seeing her form her own independent party and see how she fares.
The truth, however, is that most likely the committee will rule to cut the delegates in half and apportion some to both candidates in a fashion that won't affect the overall race at all. MSNBC's political number-crunching genius Chuck Todd had predicted this outcome weeks ago.
The race is over. Let the general begin.

The Witching Hour

It'll be interesting to see how much of a team player Hillary will be after her run is officially over, or if she'll pack up all her toys and go home and refuse to take any part in helping America pick Obama over John McBush.
