Elliot Who? Clinton Website Suddenly Devoid Of All Sptitzer Mentions

By BlackJack

Radar Online is reporting that Hillary Clinton's official campaign website has removed all mentions of suspected prostitution aficionado and current New York Governor Elliot Spitzer. According to Radar, the cleansing ritual took less than an hour to complete after the New York Times broke the story of Gov. Spitzer's ties to a New York prostitution ring.

The NY Times story claims the Governor, who had previously endorsed Senator Clinton (D-NY), was caught on tape arranging to meet with a high-priced prostitute at a Washington hotel last month. The prostitution ring, which operated under the name Emperors Club VIP and whose website claimed to be "the most preferred international club for those accustomed to excellence," has been under federal investigation and Gov. Spitzer has been identified as having met with a prositute as recently as February 13 in a Washington, D. C. hotel.

Governor Spitzer, who came to fame as the New York Attorney General who took on crime and insider trading on Wall Street, endorsed Hillary Clinton's presidential bid on May 13, 2007.

Update 1: Mortal Spin was able to track down this Press Release still posted on Hillary Clinton's website. And this Event posting announcing the endorsement as well.
